Stanley Livingston Webb, III, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, consummate farmer, and most importantly, a faithful servant of God took the hands of our Savior on June 2, 2012.

Stanley was born on August 4, 1941 to Stanley L. Webb, Jr. and Betty (Peterson) Webb in Corpus Christi, Texas. Stanley spent his entire life in the Odem area farming with his father and eventually farming on his own. Stanley always looked to the future; a good crop this year could give way to drought next year, so he planned for lean times and gave thanks to God for the good times.

Stanley was involved with his community in many ways. His achievements, organization memberships, and board memberships are too numerous to mention. His acts of giving were sometimes public; but most were kept private as he was not a man that demanded praise from others. His service was from the heart and he felt that God wanted him on this earth to help others in need.

Stanley is preceded in death by his son Bryan David Webb.

When Stanley and Sylvia married, a large family became an even larger blended family which is still growing today and which was of great pride to Stanley.

Stanley is survived by his wife Sylvia and children: Wade Webb, Mickey Watson (Randy), Steven Webb, Nathan Webb (Marcie), Joy Webb, Roland Mahaffey (Jet), and Nikki Pulling (Dave). Also surviving Stanley are his 10 grandchildren: Christa, Addison, Shae, Jonah, Hunter, Evie, Justin, Amanda, Megan and Zachary and great-grandchild: Xander.
