Bernie Lane went to her eternal reward early Wednesday morning just after midnight
25 January, 2017 at the age of 59. As a mother, a loved one, a friend, a colleague,
or even a stranger, Bernie's open heart and eagerness to insure people felt welcomed
and wanted touched those she met. Her family laughed and wondered how
Bernie could both turn a random casual hobby, like scrapbooking,
with chance encounters into deep, encouraging friendships and preserve our
memories with love and creativity, all at the same time.

Bernie and David were married for 37 years. Their love and devotion to each other
in the best and worst of life is a testament to their daily choice to put the other
first and willingly sacrifice for the good of the other. Bernie said on numerous occasions
that her wedding day was the day God blessed her for the rest of her life.
She was a mother whose life taught her sons how to sacrifice, love, and laugh.
She gave herself completely to her family's wellbeing by loving them in numerous small,
daily ways and praying for them everyday. As a mother and wife, Bernie excelled
because she always strove for her children's and husband's happiness
for no other reason than she loved them.

For the past 21 years, Bernie worked as the Chief Financial Oce for Shea Physical Therapy.
Her time there gave her happy memories and allowed her to meet many caring people
over the years. Additionally, she held a strong desire to always serve others.
Bernie was active over the years in King H.S. Band Boosters and other King High School activities,
lifelong PTA member, Baylor Parent's Association, Junior League, St. Phillip's Catholic Church,
Cub Scouts, alumni of IWA, Bayfest, and countless hours for other organizations.
Bernie's family is very proud of her dedication and hard work over the past decades and
for the many ways she gave of her self personally and professionally.

Bernie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and an infant son David, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years David, children Matthew, Michael and Jordan.
Parents Olivia and Bernie Dean, Sr. Brothers: the family of Ralph Dean (Alyssa), the family of
