Anna Maria Ali wasn't just a daughter, a mother, a grandmother, or a wife. She wasn't just a woman who made the people around her great. She herself was and will continue to be, in spirit and memory, a beautiful and amazing person who shined down upon the lives of all the people she met all across the world. She was a listener, a lover, a traveler, a Real Housewives Fan, a singer --whenever a good Selena song came on, and a focused individual when duty called. When her family needed help, she was there. When her brothers and sisters fought, she mended their fences. When her children felt lost she guided them. When her husband needed strength, she was his rock. She was truly the person everyone went to when they needed validation and support. So it's with a heavy and broken heart that we announce her passing away on October 1st, 2016. The world will keep spinning, the seasons will come and go, and we all will have to move on with our lives. However, to all of those blessed enough to know her for the person she was... there will be a void that can never be filled again. Anna leaves behind two children Leonor & Hamid, a grandson Oliver, and a husband Mumtaz. She also leaves behind her father Juan Guevara, her sisters Dianna and Patricia, her brothers Robert and Roy, and a cast of nieces and nephews that all adored her deeply. We love you and pray that you've drifted into infinity with a glass full of ice and a heart full of love ready to share with all the angels you meet with on your new journey.
