Adrian R. Sosa, Jr., age 77, passed away August 24, 2016. He was born on September 1, 1938 to Mary and Adrian Sosa in Corpus Christi.

He was raised in Corpus Christi. He graduated from W.B. Ray High School in 1957. He enlisted in the U. S. Air Force from May 1959 - March 1979. He retired as a MSGT; continue his career service to his country at Corpus Christi Army Depot until he retired in 2004.

He married his wife of 51 years on January 9, 1960 and together they raised their two daughters. Mary Alice Galvan was a homemaker. Adrian R. Sosa was a loving father, son and brother. He will always be remembered for his quiet nature, service to his country, and devotion to his family and faith. Adrian and his family enjoyed camping, the great outdoors, and tinkering in his garage. His greatest joy came from spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. Adrian missed his wife, Mary Alice, dearly since her passing five years ago. He joined her five years to the day, August 24, in heaven a bittersweet ending to their lifelong love.

Adrian R. Sosa, Jr, is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Galvan and parents Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Sosa, Sr. He is survived by his daughter Denise (Urban) Villagran and Debra Leal; siblings Alfred (Jeannie) Sosa, Arnold (Jeanette) Sosa, Norma Sosa and Arthur (Cecilia) Sosa; grandchildren Ashley Villagran, Andrew Villagran, Miranda Leal, and Matthew Leal; his dog Molly.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Holy Cross Catholic Church located at 1109 North Staples Street Corpus Christi, Texas. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Andrew J. Villagran, Matthew Leal, Richard Perez, Ricky Gamez, Ronnie Gamez, and Matthew Sanchez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alfred Sosa, Arnold Sosa, Arthur Sosa, Urban Villagran, and Frank John Gamez.

The family wishes to sincerely thank his caregivers, Mary Cabrera and Darlene Starry for the care and compassion they provided.
